Back when Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) first injured Abe, offscreen Theo offered verbal consent over the phone so that his dad could have emergency surgery.
Abe later woke up with amnesia and was abducted from the hospital, so Theo has been concerned.

There might be some opportunity for Theo to use his tech skills and uncover a clue that points in Nurse Whitley King’s (Kim Coles) direction.
