According to reports, Law & Order: Organized Crime will be moving forward with Season 5; however, NBC has passed on airing the drama on their network. Looks like the show, starring Christopher Meloni, will be streamed on Peacock moving forward, and the fifth season will consist of 10 episodes.
Law & Order: Organized Crime- NBC’s Loss Is Peacock’s Gain
NBC renewed the Law & Order mothership show, as well as Law & Order: SVU for the 2024-2025 season months ago, while Law & Order: Organized Crime hung in the balance, prompting loyal viewers to do all they can to campaign to save the show.

Bio, a comedy produced by Lorne Michaels was canceled and shipped off to Peacock, while daytime drama Days of Our Lives also went upstream, from NBC to Peacock in 2022, currently airing both new and rerun shows.

Law & Order: Organized Crime’s move to Peacock means an open time slot in NBC’s Thursday primetime schedule for the 2024-2025 season. Among the two other Law & Order franchised shows that will be returning, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med have all been renewed, as well as The Hunting Party, Dr. Wolf, Found, and The Irrational.
