Ever heard of @WeRateDogs? If you have, you know it’s the pinnacle of dog-rating accounts. If you haven’t, you need to follow them immediately.

Basically, a fellow dog-lover named Matt Nelson started the Twitter account in 2015. The account now has over 7 million followers and coined the much-loved terms “doggos” and “puppers”. In 2016, We Rate Dogs had a hilarious interaction with a Twitter user named Brant, spurring some of the biggest memes of 2016.

A 2016 interaction with another Twitter user, when Nelson purposefully misnamed him “Brent” as is common in Weird Twitter, spawned the catchphrase “They’re good dogs, Brent” which became one of the biggest memes of 2016.

well, Brint, the people love it and I’m doing it for them, not you

The people love it, Brint.

And, Brunt’s finally come around. He just got a dog who loves french fries and sleeps in a pineapple. Do you get it now, Brent? They’re good dogs.

Folks… we have come full circle. This is Charlie, dog of Brant. He naps in a pineapple and really likes french fries. 14/10 you’ve got a good dog, Brent pic.twitter.com/iYnjpphWau
